The MP2000 announcement puts pallet handling in focus. What should a business prepare before a robot joins the workflow?

Announcement:

What was announced
On 18 August 2026, Pudu Robotics announced the MP2000, a pallet-handling robot designed for warehouses, logistics facilities and manufacturing. The company specifies a 2,000 kg payload capacity and describes onboard sensing that helps the robot recognize loads and navigate its working environment.
PUDU says the system supports coordinated operation across multiple robots and lets operators assign tasks or intervene. These are manufacturer-reported capabilities, not results from a Nansen deployment.
Nansen’s perspective
For a skincare manufacturer or distributor, a useful starting point is to map how ingredients, packaging and finished goods move between receiving, storage and dispatch. Document the handoffs and exceptions with the people doing that work. A company AI Twin can organize the approved instructions; live robot control is a separate integration that needs model-specific access and testing.
Keep people at the center
Involve warehouse staff in choosing the first task, defining safe operating areas and deciding when a person must take over. Confirm Philippine availability, site suitability and support with an authorized supplier before planning a purchase.
The takeaway
Start with a clear, repeatable workflow—not a promise that one robot will automate the entire warehouse.
